Here it is again! The week after Christmas and I got those after Christmas Blues! I have been working on both my sites for a month and have read every piece of info I can find! Where are the people at? I have tweaked every keyword I have on my site!
Could I just be a bad designer? Or maybe my content is all out wacky! Or it could be just taking a while to update and get out there!
Maybe I just missed a critical step in the web design and promotion process! I have been researching the whole process for the last 3 weeks and I am still trying to figure what works and how long it takes!
Just typing in the term "Increase Traffic" always brings many pages of sites that say they will booth your traffic flow! I keep looking for reviews and they seem to always be pretty crappy! I am at a loss of how to bring traffic to my site!
I read about a few different way that you can bring traffic in! Here they are in no particular order!
# 1 Write articles! Articles will sometimes bring good targeted traffic to your site! It also is a great place to put a link or links (depending on the sites policy!) The more links you have coming to your site from other sites the better, and the more you get crawled! Plus you get to publish your new ideas and thoughts!
# 2 Get all of your Keywords and Content Right! (Hum Keywords is an Interesting word) Content can be a killer for the Green flow! Your site is indexed by the content that is on it! Those space robots crawl your site and eat your words and then they process through thewordeater20789 (fiction) and boom you are indexed! Something like that! I had to redo all of my sites and correct errors on almost every page! Computers are dumb and they see the same info on two different pages the will cancel out the second listed one! Duplicate content Killer machine!
# 3 Be specific as you can on your description and name your title right! Be sure to add the right category in the search engine info!
# 4 Take advantage of the programs that you have available in C-panel! They sat there forever before I really ever used any of them!
# 5 Keep adding new content and add other things that would give someone a reason to visit your site! Then you want to keep them coming back for more! Only if you could sell E-Ice-cream you would have it made!
# 6 Do not buy into a Web scam! They are many out there! Research reviews and find out what people are saying about a company! On the other hand what may work for someone else may not work for you! That is the tricky part, to each theirs own! You may buy into a program and it made your friend Joe rich and you lose!
# 7 Keep it simple stupid! That sound easy huh, well it is not! There are many tricky and complicated techniques for building a great web site! Take in mind there are a lot of the Tech-heads talk in some alien language that is beyond the average Jane or Joe! There are a lot of Ramblers out there talking about nothing also!
# 8 Research, Research, Research! You are competing against a bunch of Tech Head Robots that are trying to take over the system! The way to building a good site, is going green! Being Natural is the way to go, it does a take a good bit of work!
# 9 Be Smart and Up-to-date! The web literally changes everyday and there are always new companies coming out! Find your Niche! Where do you want to be?
# 10 Be patient! It does not happen over night unless you are a genius! It takes a few months before you get your site optimized and indexed! Those crazy pages will start flying! When you start piling cheddar drop it back into your site! Sit back and relax on the beach! It good time!
